2022 Chardonnay

Coyote Block, Alexander Valley

This Chardonnay comes from a vineyard that backs up to the  Russian River in Alexander Valley. The river helps funnel in the cool air and the fog to help balance out the intense afternoon heat and sun exposure on the valley floor. We nicknamed the vineyard "Coyote Block" after a pack of coyotes that were seen running through the rows om our first visit. This Clone 4 Chardonnay is 100% barrel fermented and undergoes full malolactic fermentation. A gentle incorporation of new French oak adds complexity and richness.
